{"id":4441,"date":"2020-07-17T14:29:24","date_gmt":"2020-07-17T12:29:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pepite.info\/blog\/?p=4441"},"modified":"2024-04-15T10:23:41","modified_gmt":"2024-04-15T08:23:41","slug":"sensore-minuscolo-impatto-enorme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pepite.info\/blog\/sensore-minuscolo-impatto-enorme\/","title":{"rendered":"Sensore minuscolo, impatto enorme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #03234b;\">LIST ed STMicroelectronics hanno lavorato insieme per sviluppare una tecnologia che ci permetterebbe di utilizzare i nostri smartphone per monitorare la presenza di composti organici volatili: elementi inquinanti presenti nell\u2019ambiente intorno a noi che possono avere conseguenze&nbsp; per la nostra salute.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #03234b;\">Tra i composti organici volatili (VOC) ci sono molte sostanze che si trovano tipicamente in prodotti come solventi, adesivi, coloranti\/pitture e detergenti. Possono diffondersi anche a una distanza piuttosto rilevante rispetto al punto in cui vengono emessi e hanno impatti diretti e indiretti sull\u2019ambiente e sulla nostra salute. Alcuni VOC sono considerati <strong>fortemente inquinanti<\/strong> e contribuiscono alla formazione dei gas serra. Un\u2019esposizione prolungata ai VOC pu\u00f2 creare problemi di salute come mal di testa e senso di spossatezza, irritazione degli occhi, della pelle, del naso, della gola e persino problemi respiratori.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #3cb4e6;\">Nuovi materiali per nuovi sensori<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #03234b;\">Il <span style=\"color: #3cb4e6;\"><a style=\"color: #3cb4e6;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.list.lu\/\">Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST)<\/a><\/span>, che ha un\u2019esperienza riconosciuta nello sviluppo di nuovi materiali e tecnologie, ha avviato un progetto congiunto con <span style=\"color: #3cb4e6;\"><a style=\"color: #3cb4e6;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.st.com\/content\/st_com\/en.html\">STMicroelectronics<\/a><\/span>, leader globale nei semiconduttori che sviluppa, produce e commercializza&nbsp; anche sensori integrati. Alcuni di questi sensori misurano temperatura, pressione o presenza di gas. Questi sensori vengono utilizzati, per esempio, nei telefoni cellulari ma anche nell\u2019elettronica di bordo di aerei e automobili.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #03234b;\">L\u2019obiettivo del progetto congiunto, supportato da <a style=\"color: #03234b;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fnr.lu\/projects\/multiplexed-membranes-on-temperature-controlled-nanowires-gas-sensor-connected-to-asic\/\">FNR<\/a> tramite il programma BRIDGES, \u00e8 la realizzazione entro il 2022 di un sensore che permetta di rilevare i <strong>VOC<\/strong>, con l\u2019intenzione di<strong> integrare questa tecnologia<\/strong> nei prodotti di Personal Electronics e nelle applicazioni Smart Home e Building Automation.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #3cb4e6;\">Tecnologie uniche sviluppate da LIST<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #03234b;\">Lo sviluppo di questo minuscolo sensore, dalle dimensioni di circa un millimetro quadrato, sar\u00e0 basato su due <strong>tecnologie di materiali sviluppate da<\/strong> <strong>LIST<\/strong>. LIST ha gi\u00e0 verificato la realizzabilit\u00e0 del concetto di una tecnologia <strong>unica al mondo e a basso consumo<\/strong> per sensori di gas, basata su una particolare architettura di materiali.
