{"id":2452,"date":"2018-05-02T14:55:29","date_gmt":"2018-05-02T12:55:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pepite.info\/blog\/?p=2452"},"modified":"2018-05-02T14:55:53","modified_gmt":"2018-05-02T12:55:53","slug":"da-napoli-a-houston-con-sensortile","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pepite.info\/blog\/da-napoli-a-houston-con-sensortile\/","title":{"rendered":"Da Napoli a Houston con SensorTile"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Partiranno in 4 da Napoli per Houston, Texas, e parteciperanno dal 14 al 17 maggio, alla finale dell\u2019<a href=\"http:\/\/imtc.ieee-ims.org\/\"><em>IEEE International &#8220;Sensors and Measurement&#8221; Student Contest<\/em>,<\/a> competizione internazionale che ha l\u2019obiettivo di promuovere lo sviluppo di idee innovative riguardanti l\u2019utilizzo di <a href=\"http:\/\/www.st.com\/en\/evaluation-tools\/steval-stlkt01v1.html\">SensorTile<\/a>, la sensor board sviluppata da <a href=\"http:\/\/www.st.com\">STMicroelectronics<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.st.com\/en\/evaluation-tools\/steval-stlkt01v1.html\">SensorTile<\/a>, grande quanto un francobollo, \u00e8 la board pi\u00f9 densamente popolata di sensori al mondo. In appena 13,5mmx13,5mm riesce a contenere un microcontrollore <a href=\"http:\/\/www.st.com\/content\/st_com\/en\/products\/microcontrollers\/stm32-32-bit-arm-cortex-mcus\/stm32-ultra-low-power-mcus\/stm32l4-series.html?querycriteria=productId=SS1580\">STM32<\/a> a basso consumo ed alte prestazioni con nucleo centrale <strong>Arm\u00ae-Cortex\u00ae-M<\/strong>, 5 sensori <strong>MEMS<\/strong> (un sensore inerziale che contiene un accelerometro e un giroscopio, una bussola elettronica, un sensore di pressione e un microfono) e un processore di rete <strong>Bluetooth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Il contest \u00e8 organizzato dall<a href=\"http:\/\/ieee-ims.org\/\">\u2019IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society<\/a> (IMS) e dall\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/ieee-sensors.org\">IEEE Sensors Council<\/a> (SC) ed \u00e8 sponsorizzato da <a href=\"http:\/\/www.st.com\">STMicroelectronics<\/a> che fornir\u00e0 ad ogni team un kit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.st.com\/en\/evaluation-tools\/steval-stlkt01v1.html\">SensorTile<\/a> e due SensorTile \u201c<strong>Core System<\/strong>\u201d, la base su cui sviluppare i progetti proposti dalle squadre partecipanti.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2492\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pepite.info\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/imtc2018-logo_web-02_0.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"570\" height=\"131\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pepite.info\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/imtc2018-logo_web-02_0.png 570w, https:\/\/www.pepite.info\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/imtc2018-logo_web-02_0-300x69.png 300w, https:\/\/www.pepite.info\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/imtc2018-logo_web-02_0-250x57.png 250w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 570px) 100vw, 570px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Del team dell\u2019<a href=\"http:\/\/www.unina.it\/home\">Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Napoli Federico II<\/a> fanno parte <em><strong>Rita Fontanella<\/strong><\/em>, laureata in Ingegneria Aerospaziale e dottoranda presso il <em>Dipartimento di Ingegneria Industriale<\/em>, <em><strong>Raffaele Ruggiero<\/strong><\/em>, studente del secondo anno della Laurea Magistrale in <em>Ingegneria Aerospaziale<\/em>, <em><strong>Giorgio de Alteriis<\/strong><\/em> e <em><strong>Guido Di Girolamo Faraone<\/strong><\/em>, studenti del secondo anno della Laurea Magistrale in <em>Ingegneria Elettronica<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Il loro obiettivo \u00e8 sviluppare un sistema di navigazione inerziale costituito da una configurazione ridondata di <a href=\"http:\/\/www.st.com\/en\/evaluation-tools\/steval-stlkt01v1.html\">SensorTile<\/a>, disposti sulle facce di un poliedro regolare. Nel loro caso, la configurazione adottata \u00e8 costituita dalle sei sensor board disposte sulle facce di un cubo.<\/p>\n<p>Lo scopo \u00e8 quello di ottenere la self-calibration del bias dei giroscopi disposti su facce parallele, con un notevole miglioramento nell\u2019accuratezza della stima di assetto,&nbsp;e cio\u00e8 il sistema, grazie alla presenza di pi\u00f9 sensori inerziali sincronizzati e ad un opportuno algoritmo di elaborazione numerica dei dati, riesce a compensare i tipici errori che si riscontrano sulle misure grezze dei singoli sensori.
